Ayurveda, The Indian Traditional system of Medicine is provide Treatments to Maintain the health of the Healthy and care for the Diseased. The 'Ritucharya', the seasonal regimens to be followed by the people to maintain the health deals with the food habits, Living habits, Treatments to be taken in each season to prevent the diseases and improve the immunity etc.
All living being due to the heat in the summer loose the energy stored in the form 'Snigdhatha', the oiliness in the body and becomes weak. The dryness due to the lose of oiliness may cause increase of 'vatha', is not getting affected because it can get vitiated in cold climate only. When it get rained the dryness along with cold can cause many diseases due to vitaited 'vatha'.
The Viral fever (Vathika Jwara), Joint pain, Back pain, Vatha Raktam, all Kinds of arthritis etc are some of the examples.

The treatments like Abhyangam (Oil Bath), Kashaya Kanji (Medicated Rice soup) are some of the general treatments advised during the early rainy seasons. The treatments like ,Panchakarma' is also advised during the season as a classical Treatment. Vasthi is the treatment advisable in this season. The treatment can vary according the condition of the patient, Diseases commonly occuring to the patient.
